"Notions of Space."

A spectacular series of stamps uncovering the history of space. Euclid followed Pythagoras, Hippocrates and Thales in the great line of Greek geometricians.

This stamp dramatically portrays one of Euclid's 95 geometrical propositions. The 'hyperphilatelic eye' is seen in side elevation having already been rotated through 90 degrees, thereby revealing the bright kaleidoscope inherently contained.
